We have been in communication with Councilman di Blasio's
office and he has helped address many of our concerns with the FAC and the
proposed project at 575 5th Ave. The FAC has also reached out to members
of our group and we have unofficially brokered a deal to move the 575 5th
Avenue project forward. Many of the details are still being worked out so
check back for the official announcement with all the details of the new
agreement. Due to Councilman di Blasio's tireless work in brokering this
deal the City Planning Council has approved the project. There is more work
to do but recent developments have made us confident that our concerns were
addressed and will continue to be addressed into the future. We thank Councilman
di Blasio and his staff for their help with this issue.

Our Community would like to thank you for
hearing our concerns about the proposed supportive housing project at 5th
Ave. and 16th Street. The decision you have made reflects that of many in
our community who are concerned about the potential impact this project
could have on our neighborhood. We hope to achieve a facility that will
